Wonderful Kids, Clothes, and Location!!

I had a wonderful time photographing this wonderful family!! The girls were soooo good all through there many wardrobe changes!! Their Mom is the designer and seamstress behind
O-pea Bean Clothing. You can find her awesome clothes at Lollipop Decor in Davidson and she also has private trunk shows. To see more of her clothing line, go to http://www.opeabean.com/ We took these pictures at the Bradford Store and The Mustard Seed. Thanks to both of these establishments for letting us photograph on your property. It was so much fun and there were so many incredible backdrops to choose from. Yes, those are cows in the background!! They were no where near us when we first got there and they slowly came to check us out.

Juliette - 6 months old

Here are some recent photographs of Juliette. She's wearing (or should I say busting out of) the cutest outfit that some friends of ours gave her when she was born. I think I should have used this outfit when she was more like 3 months old.

Around Town

As you know, I mostly photograph young children. However, last week I had the most fun hanging out and taking pictures of these beautiful high school graduates and their younger brother. Here are a few from the session...

Abigail and Hannah

I had fun taking photographs of these sisters the other day. I have known this family since we moved to Davidson and it was such a pleasure taking their pictures. I love the fact that one of them has brown eyes and the other has blue eyes. It reminds me of my own girls.

"I just want an apple"

I love repeat customers!!! Nothing makes a photographer feel better than to be called again. I took pictures of Kate when she was a baby last year and as for Drew, I've photographed him a lot over the past couple of years. It's so much fun watching them grow!!! Kate was so sweet and held her arms out for me to hold her. I could of held her all morning instead of taking pictures!!! Drew is always so happy and bubbly and has the cutest southern accent you have ever heard. When I'm finished taking pictures, I always offer the kids some kind of surprise (candy!!). Drew was so excited about the "surprise", but when he looked into my bag he looked so disappointed. I asked him what would he have wanted?? He said, he would like an apple. Well.... I was all out of apples. Not a common "surprise" that I have in my goody bag. So on my way home that day, I stopped by the grocery store and bought him some apples.
